Chicken Jalfrezi


1.5- 2 lbs cubed chicken breast
1 medium onion sliced onions
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp crushed black pepper
1 tsp crushed chili peppers
1 heaping tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp cayenne powder
2 TBSP tomato paste
2 sliced green chili peppers
1 red or green bell pepper largely diced
1 red onion largely diced
1 chopped tomato

Salt To Taste (1-1.5 tsps)

1. Heat oil
2. Add sliced onion
3. Once slightly brown, add chicken, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 of garlic and ginger paste
4. Cook until chicken turns white
5. Add all dry spices and cook
6. Add green chillies and tomato paste
7. Cover and cook for 8-10 mins
8. Add chopped tomatoes, bell peppers, and red onion
9. Mix well and add a little water to create desired sauce consistency
10. Cook for 5 more mins.
Garnish with ginger & fresh cilantro. ENJOY!
